PJ Chermak is a San Diego certified personal trainer with an extensive background in athletics, having dedicated his upbringing to competitive soccer and playing at the Division 1 level. PJ’s approach to personal training is directly influenced by his athlete mindset – encouraging clients to push performance in a safe manner, while keeping morale and motivation high. His focus on functional training ensures increased flexibility and stability, by teaching the body to operate as one unit. The achieved results culminate in enhanced range of motion and strength, allowing every day movements to become more effective

PJ’s client list reflects diversity in age, physical ability, and experience. He ensures every training program is catered specifically to each one of his clients. Training with PJ Chermak provides a truly personal experience paired with just the right amount of push to keep you keep you being the best you can be.

Services & Pricing

PJ Chermak offers personal training and fitness services in the San Diego area. An initial session is dedicated to identify your goals and asses movement in order to personalize your training program accordingly. 

The rates below cover pricing for one hour sessions:

  • Initial assessment - $60

  • Single session - $70

  • 3 session package - $210

  • 5 session package - $315 (10% discount)

  • 10 sessions package - $595 (15% discount)

  • 20 session package - $1120 (20% discount)

Want to workout with a friend? Please inquire directly regarding rates for adding on a person to your session or organizing a group class.


It is key to work with a personal trainer who has the knowledge, skills, and ability to design safe and effective fitness programs. Below is a list of PJ’s certifications:


  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)

  • Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES)

  • Weight Loss Specialist (WLS)


  • Group Training Specialist


  • First Aid certified

  • AED/CPR certified
